Make-up Challenge

Last Dec 1, we had a very game couple who was game with just about anything. When all the guest have left, we asked them if they were willing to jump into the swimming pool. When they said yes, I knew this was a great chance to test to see how well airbrush make-up will hold for weddings. In #1 you can see that the couple jumping into the pool. Couple was completely submerged!

Picture #2 is a big no-no for make-up. Every make up artist will tell you when you cry or when you perspire (in short when makeup is wet) you never rub make-up or it will smear. Here she is rubbing her make-up against something worse - Mark's wet barong.

After seeing that the make up was still ok, they agreed take another dive, this time backwards (picture #3) If you zoom into picture #4, you can see that her face is dripping wet. However, you will still see, hair, foundation and blush is still pretty much intact.

In fact, it was so intact without anyone touching them or giving them towels, Jong was able to continue on with pictorials.

picture #6 shows that even without retouch (after being towel dried) make-up is still ok.

PS All shots by John Mateos Ong without photoshop and Mark had make-up too.
